Terms of Service

Welcome to Ebazzari (“Ebazzari”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operated at ebazzari.com and related services. By accessing or using Ebazzari, creating an account, posting a classified ad, applying to sell on Ebazzari, or purchasing from a seller on our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. About Ebazzari

Ebazzari is an online marketplace based in Pakistan that connects buyers with independent local shops and individual sellers. We provide tools for product listings, shop storefronts, classified ads, in-platform messaging, cart and checkout flows, and seller workspaces. Ebazzari is a platform; we are not the seller of items listed by shops unless we explicitly state otherwise.

2. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or enter into a transaction.
• Provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure.
• Use Ebazzari only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws in Pakistan.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly at ebazzariteam@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our policies, or applicable law.

Email verification may be required for certain actions, including applying to sell on Ebazzari. We may restrict platform admin accounts from submitting seller applications.

4. Buyers

When you buy through Ebazzari:

• You enter into a contract directly with the seller (shop or individual), not with Ebazzari.
• Product descriptions, prices, stock, delivery areas, and payment methods (including cash on delivery where offered) are set by the seller.
• You should review listing details, shop policies, and communicate through Ebazzari chat when you need clarification before ordering.
• Order fulfilment, returns, refunds, and disputes between buyer and seller are primarily handled between those parties, though we may assist with reports and moderation where our policies allow.

5. Sellers on Ebazzari

To sell as a verified shop on Ebazzari, you must submit a seller application with truthful business and identity information. Applications are reviewed by our team before a workspace is created.

• You must accurately describe your business type, inventory, and contact details.
• You must upload valid identity verification documents when requested (e.g. CNIC, passport).
• Product listings may be subject to moderation before appearing on the public marketplace. Verified shops may receive faster approval for listings, at our discretion.
• You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, pricing, and fulfilment of your listings and orders.
• Subscription plans, listing limits, and workspace features may apply as described in your shop dashboard.

6. Classified ads

Users may post classified advertisements subject to our ad policies and moderation. Ads must be truthful, must not infringe third-party rights, and must comply with Pakistani law (including restrictions on counterfeit goods, stolen items, and prohibited products). We may remove or reject ads that violate our standards.

For certain categories (such as mobile phones), additional verification steps (for example IMEI checks against PTA DIRBS) may apply to reduce fraud. Verification results are provided for informational purposes and do not guarantee device condition or legal status.

7. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or applications.
• Sell counterfeit, stolen, illegal, or prohibited items.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users on or off the platform in connection with Ebazzari transactions.
• Attempt to bypass our chat, payment, or verification systems to defraud users.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload our systems without written permission.
• Impersonate another person, shop, or Ebazzari staff member.

8. Content & intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, descriptions, logos). By posting content on Ebazzari, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and promote that content on the platform and in marketing related to Ebazzari, solely for operating and promoting the marketplace.

Ebazzari name, logo, and platform design are our property. You may not use our branding without prior written consent.

9. Moderation & enforcement

We may review shops, products, ads, messages, and reports. We reserve the right to remove content, reject applications, suspend shops, or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or harm users or the platform. Where appropriate, we may share information with law enforcement.

10. Disclaimers

Ebazzari is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free listings, or the conduct of any user. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We are not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers and are not responsible for product quality, delivery delays, or payment disputes except as explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ebazzari and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Ebazzari in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) PKR 10,000, except where liability cannot be limited under Pakistani law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ebazzari from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, listings, conduct, or breach of these Terms.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Ebazzari after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Courts in Pakistan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that apply to you.
